You'll earn $25 each summer for agreeing to let your thermostat adjust 2-4 degrees from your preferred setting for a few hours on a select number of days when electric demand is at its highest.

About the Smart Thermostat Program

Smart thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home's energy use. And by signing up for the Smart Thermostat Program, you'll receive additional rewards. By enrolling in the program, your smart thermostat will automatically make slight adjustments on select days throughout the summer when demand for energy is high. Plus, you'll earn $25 each summer you participate.

Already have a smart thermostat? You will receive a $100 Virtual Visa® Prepaid Card once you have successfully enrolled your device.

Need a smart thermostat? Shop the Consumers Energy Online Store and receive up to $125 off the purchase of a new smart thermostat. Enjoy the rewards of earning money for managing your energy use when it matters most without sacrificing your comfort.
