Entergy Texas FAQ
What is Entergy Texas’s Battery Storage Solutions program?
-
The Battery Storage Solutions program rewards customers for allowing Entergy Texas to discharge their battery storage systems during times of high demand.
-
Entergy Texas sends signals to inverters that control batteries to reduce peak energy use, reduce air pollution, and lower electricity costs.

Events will take place on weekdays (excluding federal holidays) between 1 pm and 7 pm. Events will last 1.5 hours on average.
How will I know if I’m eligible to enroll?
-
To participate in the Battery Storage Solutions program, you must be an Entergy Texas electric customer. You must also use a battery storage system controlled by a supported battery or inverter manufacturer, and your battery must perform in accordance with what is in your interconnection service agreement (ISA).
