Eversource Battery Incentive FAQ for Energy Storage Solutions Demand Response Season

• The table below shows the results of a fictional customer’s curtailment performance over a season that had 3 demand response events. In reality, dispatch seasons have many more events (40-60 events).

• The customers average performance over the season would be: 4 kW

  • The total performance incentive for this fictional customer for the season would be:

  • Average Season Performance = (3 𝑘𝑊 + 4 𝑘𝑊 + 5 𝑘𝑊 ) / 3 = 4 𝑘𝑊

  • 4 𝑘𝑊 ∙ $300/𝑘𝑊 = $1,200 will go to their loan balance reduction
