Enrolling your thermostat is an easy and convenient option for joining Dominion Energy’s Reward Hours program.
Reward Hours is a program where Dominion Energy rewards residential customers for managing their electricity usage certain hours of the year (we call these hours “reward hours”).
Reward hours can occur throughout the year but are typically scheduled when the weather is very cold (winter mornings or evenings) or extremely hot (summer afternoons).
By enrolling, you agree to let Dominion Energy make brief, small adjustments to your thermostat during reward hours. You will receive a $75 bill credit once you have successfully enrolled in the program. As long as you remain enrolled in the program, you will receive an additional $25 bill credit following each anniversary of your enrollment. That’s $100 in your first year!
