If you are an Idaho Power customer and own a qualified smart thermostat to control your AC, you may be eligible to participate!

Earn up to $20

Earn extra money just for participating, no extra effort required. It’s an easy way to turn your smart thermostat into something that gives back, year after year. Participation incentives begin in the second year of program participation, customers will then receive $5 per month for June, July, August and September participation. 

Stay in control

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.

When you join the Idaho Power Smart Thermostat Demand Response program, you'll get rewarded for allowing small, temporary temperature adjustments during periods of high energy use. We’ll send you a $50 check simply for signing up. You get to stay in complete control — opt out of any event, any time — as a thanks, we’ll credit your bill $5 every summer month you participate in the program (up to $20). It’s an easy bonus for continuing to support your community while prioritizing your comfort.
