If you own a smart thermostat you may be eligible to participate! If you don’t own one yet, you can receive an instant discount on an eligible model purchased through and installed by a participating HVAC contractor through Potomac Edison’s Residential Energy Efficiency HVAC program.

Managing your home’s energy use is easy with a smart thermostat – and now you can earn rewards by joining Potomac Edison’s Energy Savings Rewards Maryland Program. You can receive a $100 or $50 Prepaid Mastercard when you enroll your thermostat. The amount depends on whether you participate year-round or just for the summer.
During peak energy times, Potomac Edison will make small adjustments to help reduce demand. If you stay enrolled in the program through the selected season, you will receive an additional $25 Prepaid Mastercard at the end of each season you participate.
