If you own a smart thermostat you may be eligible to participate! If you don’t own one yet, you can purchase a qualifying smart thermostat from the Ameren IL Marketplace at a discounted price.

Your utility will reward you for using less energy during times of peak electric demand by allowing small, temporary adjustments to your thermostat during peak time savings events.

Stay in control

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser, or thermostat.

About Peak Time Savings

Smart thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home’s energy use. And by signing up with Ameren Illinois’ Peak Time Savings program, you’ll receive additional rewards.

By enrolling your qualifying smart thermostat, you agree to let Ameren Illinois make brief, small adjustments to your thermostat during times of peak electric demand. You will receive a $50 Prepaid Mastercard once you have successfully enrolled in the program. As long as you remain enrolled in the program, you will receive an additional $25 Prepaid Mastercard each year you participate.
